Limbaugh Avoided Becoming A Phony Soldier By Dodging The Draft
You know with all of the republicans avoiding serving in the military, it amazes me that they are the ones who support going to war so often and the ones who are critical of soldiers who don’t agree with them.
We all know bush dodged going to war. His daddy protected him there. But there are many others you may not know about. Newt Gingrich and Dick Cheney got deferments, so they never served this country.
Kenneth Starr got out of serving in the military because of dandruff . . . oops . . . psoriasis I meant to say.
Jack Kemp got out of serving in the military because of a kneee injury. Although he played as a quarterback in the NFL for 8 more years receiving a good paycheck for doing so.
Pat Buchanon escaped military service due to arthritic knees, which he also seemed to overcome since he is an avid jogger.
Rush Limbaugh dodged military service because of an anal cyst or an ingrown hair on his oversized ass.
He had the nerve to criticize soldiers as phony soldiers if they did not support the Iraq war?
The letter written to him by senators denouncing him for this just sold for 2 million dollars and the money will go to a worthwhile charity to help injured soldiers. That is commendable that something good came out of it.
However, these republicans who tell you “support our troops”, “support the war in Iraq”, “we will protect you”, “we are the ones to trust when it comes to defending this country” should not ever be believed.
If they felt so strongly about protecting this country and supporting our troops, why did they dodge military service?

WHEN I WAS IN SCHOOL BACK BEFORE THE HIPPY BEATLES AND REST OF BABY BOOMERS, I KNEW PLENTY OF STUDENTS WHO BRAGGED ABOUT GOING TO COLLEGE TO AVOID THE DRAFT OR KNOCKING UP A GIRL ,BECOMING A FATHER TO AVOID THE DRAFT. WHEN I GOT MY DRAFT NOTICE AND REPORTED FOR MY PHYSICAL, THERE WERE A LOT WHO HAD MEDICAL PAPERS THAT MADE THEM 4FAND EXCUSED THEM. THEY WERE NOT ALL REPUBLICANS. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND THAT THEY WERE THE OTHER KIND(DUMMYCRATS). WHERE DID CLINTON SERVE HIS COUNTRY? HOW DID HE GET OUT OF SERVING? (PHONY). HE SERVED IN ENGLAND BY HAVING THE KGB OF RUSSIA HELPING OUT FINANCIALLY(MY PERSONAL OPINION AND FREEDOM OF SPEECH) WITH HIS ANTI WAR PROTESTS. (HE IS A DEMOCRAT) AND HOW ABOUT JOHN KERRY PUTTING THE MOUTH ON HIS FELLOW SOLDIERS. HOW ABOUT SEAN PENN, WHERE DID HE SERVE AND GEORGE CLOONEY(WHERE AND WHEN). THESE ANTI AMERICAN HOLLYWOOD SCUM ARE PHONIES FROM THE ONSET. JOHN WAYNE SERVED, AUDIE MURPHY, CLARK GABLE, ETC ETC. LIBERALS MAKE ME SICK.
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE TOTAL TRUTH ABOUT THE SOLDIER WHO LIMBAUGH CALLED PHONY(WAS HE OR WAS HE NOT IN THE SERVICE) I BELIEVE LIMBAUGH AND I DONT BELIEVE CLINTONS OR OTHER LIBS.

My sentiments exactly. I am never surprised at the hypocrisy of these right wing neo-conservative republicans. In addition, they thrive on a politics of destruction. I tuned into Hannity last week, and listened to him over-powering (seducing) the mind of a child, by offering her concert tickets as a token for her outcry at what she deemed to be left-wing politics. this is an outrage. Her parent(s) need to be held accountable for such political brainwashing. Hannity takes “divide and conquer” to a totally new level. Oh the shame!!!!!
Why cant he espouse on the alleged positive record of his dear friend Rudy? Why does he need to take on “stop Hillary express” to get him into the white house? Why is he tearing one down so he can build another up? If you take hannity at his word, you would conclude that Hillary is a foreign agent, a member of some islamic facist, anti-american, communist group, who wants nothing but to bring America to its knees and destroy everything that we hold dear in this country. If Hannity is a by-product of America, I am totally ashamed to be called an American.

HUDY, I think you need to do some serious research, and it’s an easy thing to do on google. Since the Vietnam Conflict was never about protecting America, but freeing the people from China’s communist hold, I can understand why many did not want to be sent to Nam.One could get an deferment from military duty if they maintained a certain grade average, which Clinton did, and won a Rhode Scholor,Bush & Cheney could not maintain decent grades in college, say nothing of winning ANY Rhode Scholorship,yet Cheney got 5 deferments. Why is Bush keeping his military records hidden? Clinton did send a few troops to Bosnia, but none were killed from fighting and that war did not last over 4 years. Here is what Bush had to say about our troops that Clinton sent to Bosnia. “Victory means exit strategy, and it’s important for the President to explain to us what the exit strategy is.” Gov. George W.Bush (Rep.Texas) Well HUDY, it’s been almost 5 years since I troops have been in Iraq, has Bush mention what his exit strategy is? It’s important for us to know what his exit strategy is. Another comment made by Bush when he was Gov. of Texas, concerning Bosnia.. “If we are going to commit American troops,we must be certain they have a clear mission, an achievable goal, and an exit strategy.” Well HUDY was Bush statements good for thee, but not for me?

Give a Republican an edge in an argument and he’ll dispense with all reason.
I don’t agree with Democrats on everything, but when I served in Iraq I noticed that the hardest working, most honorable soldiers in my unit (particularly among officers) were the liberal ones. The conservatives were either assholes, idiots, or slackers. As for draft dodgers, it is patriotic to refuse to serve when your service is used for anti-Constitutional, illegal, or immoral actions. If I didn’t have a wife when I was called to go to Iraq then I’d likely have taken the jail time.
There is a huge disconnect in the way our country is run, both by Democrats and Republicans, and the ideas in embodied in the Constitution. If you are a Yellow Dog Democrat or a Neo-Con, the Republican version of the Yellow Dog, then you are as much responsible for the state of anti-Constitutional bias in this nation’s leadership as the leadership is. To point the finger at the other side of the aisle and yell “hypocrite” is not only itself hypocritical, but is destructive of liberty and just downright moronic. Everyone needs to get a grip and really read the Founding documents to get a sense of where this nation came from. And I don’t means since Teddy Roosevelt (he was not a Founding member).
