Put Pete Rose In The Baseball Hall Of Fame
Now this pisses me off. All of these baseball players get caught using steroids, basically get caught cheating to achieve their records.
I know people try to say that barry Bonds and others would have achieved their records even without steroids. It isn’t rue. You can’t prove it is. And it’s the players who are at fault of not being able to prove it one way or the other.
They cheated. people lose gold medals because of cheating but everyone wants to give these baseball players their records and their entrance into the baseball hall of fame even though they cheated just like those olympic athletes who had to give their medals back.
Why are baseball players being treated any different? Pete Rose gambled. They won’t induct Pete Rose into the baseball hall of fame for what he did as a baseball player even though the gambling he did was long after that when he was a manager.
How can people justify taking medals away from olympic athletes and keeping pete Rose out of the baseball hall of fame and not take anything away from these baseball players who cheated to get their records?

Don’t you know the rules? Maybe you haven’t read them lately. Steriods (quietly) are legal. It sells more tickets, produces more numbers but GAMBLING that’s from the den of Satan. If Petey woulda juiced up and doubled his numbers, it would have been fine - provided he didn’t write a book about it or anything. Hall Of Fame Here I Come! I think the people that are in charge of Hall Of Fame Induction (For any sport) are just haters. Most of them can’t or didn’t do it themselves in the sports world, so this is their contingency.
Pete Rose gambled…no hall of fame.
Michael Jordan was accused of roids and blood doping, and he’s a phenominal athlete. Nobody talks about that controversy anymore becaue he got caught gambling. Even though it was on golf, they still took shots at him. Charles Barkley gets spotted in Caesers Palace in Vegas, now his integrity is being questioned. Tiger Woods gets the gambling bug and he’s under scrutiny. So does John Daly. What golfer doesn’t play for skins?!?!

I’m going to tell you three things that I feel to be the unembroidered truth:
First, Jackie Robinson took almost as much crap from blacks as he did from whites because he had “jumped” the Negro league. ( note: I grew up in Brooklyn and practically lived in Ebetts Field).
Two: Barry Bonds would not have even gotten the bat on the ball aganst Bob Gibson, trust me on this one.
Three: had the designator hitter rule been around when Mickey Mantle was playing he would have set a home run record that would never have been broken.
p.s. Jackie Robnson could have played any sport he chose. The man was an incredible athlete!

Pete Rose knew it was illegal to bet. He like many other players in professional sports should be put in the HALL OF SHAME

Put the man in the hall of fame, he earned it . Got more records than any one can count . He paid his debt many times over.
